The last boat from Oscarsborg to Drøbak leaves at 23:45 (11:45 PM), and we highly recommend that you spend the night on Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort located on søndre Kaholmen.

The old military barracks has been transformed to a hotel, and you will be staying on historical grounds.

The price for a double room (including breakfast) is NOK 2200,- per night, and a single room is NOK 1600,- per night.

Breakfast is served kl. 08.00-10.00 (8:00 AM-10:00 AM).
Check-out by 11:00 (11:00 AM).

You make the booking rooms yourselves. We have reserved a number of rooms, and to ensure availability, we recommend you make the reservation before March 1st.

The fortress island Oscarsborg, which was released for civilian use in 2004, offers an excellent place for an overnight stay. 

In the old officers 'and students' quarters, simple military barracks have been converted into beautiful hotel rooms, many with sea views. Military jackets and helmets are used as decoration in the rooms of this unique accommodation.

In addition to a comfortable double bed, the family rooms have military bunk beds, where soldiers have marked their presence by writing their surnames on the concrete walls. 

Despite the military setting, there is neither morning inspection nor requirement to make the bed if you stay overnight, just a short walk to the restaurant, Forpleiningen (Mess Hall).
